Another Video from our fave Red Sox kid

My favorite Red Sox fan (and cancer survivor), Lexi Alden is back on TV and she does not disappoint. This girl is a national treasure.

My favorite part is around 1:14. She is kissing all the players and she tries to get away with merely blowing the unbelievable ugly Julian Tavarez a kiss. But then Lexi realizes she's faced cancer, she might as well give a pock-marked pitcher a peck on the check.

Thanks to Jess Allen for alerting me to the new video!

Pee Pee ala Japanese!

Enjoy!

Best Red Sox Kid Ever

A Red Sox blog I like called Red Sox Monster turned me on to this clip. This is something for all. Non-sports fans included.

A young cancer survivor, Lexi Alden gets on the mic and completely steals the show. And NESN's Tina Ceraviso has sense enough to let her go pretty unfiltered. My favorite part is when pitcher Kyle Snyder lines up for the next kiss and Lexi disses him. (Appx. 1:04) Genius. This child is a star. This kid is channeling Elaine Stritch - I am obsessed with her.

Enjoy.

"Life is nothing if you're not obsessed." -- John Waters

Best friends, comedy partners, and mother and daughter Julie Klausner
(VH1, Free To Be Friends) and Jackie Clarke (Hannity and Colmes, Radio
with a Twist, Showgirls: The Best Movie Ever Made. Ever!) host an
evening of comedy that will make Bob Fosse rise from his grave.

"It's too bad Jackie and Julie don't do a show every day, all day. I
would be there. I would sit right in the front and fall in love with
them over and over again."

- Fred Armisen, Saturday Night Live

"Jackie and Julie are witty, totally hot enchantresses who complete
each other's thoughts while also completing your own. Their take on
the world is so relentlessly sane it's a privilege to be able to dive
into their minds on a regular basis. I'm obsessed with them!"
– Michael Musto, Columnist for the Village Voice

He May Be Gay...

A favorite Sunday pastime is going through the wedding section of the local papers. The NY Times is usually boring - unless it is a gay couple then I like it. But for the most part it is a financial adviser marrying a kindergarten teacher. Snooze.

The NY Post used to be the place to go for a nice trashy City Hall marriage in a "gown" from Forever 21. Lately, the Post has been classing up their pages. But today the Post had a subtle winner in the trash wars.

Meet Nalom Gultom and Evelyn Silitonga.

Their wedding announcement is as follows:
For Nalom Gultom and Evelyn Silitonga, an unexpected surprise turned their wedding celebration into something out of the ordinary. “At the reception, our dearest friends surprised us with a drag queen performance and lip-synch to Rihanna’s ‘Umbrella,’ which is my husband’s favorite song these days,” says Silitonga, who, like her husband, is a hospitality worker in Manhattan. “He almost sat on my husband’s lap - senior guests were horrified,” she adds, laughing. Earlier, the Queens duo, who met in church in 2004, exchanged vows in a more traditional fashion at HKBPNY Church in their home borough. Following the ceremony, 120 family members and friends dined on authentic Indonesian cuisine at Social Hall, where DJ Tuluz spun ’80s and modern hits.

Ok let's go through this!

“At the reception, our dearest friends surprised us with a drag queen performance and lip-synch to Rihanna’s ‘Umbrella,’ which is my husband’s favorite song these days,” says Silitonga - I believe your husband is a homosexual. What in the gay community is called "Gaysian."

...where DJ Tuluz spun ’80s and modern hits. - DJ Tuluz - was that the oldest daughter from FULL HOUSE?

Favors: handcrafted silk fans in pastel colors from Jakarta - Again, husband is gay.

Honeymoon: two days in Manhattan’s Sheraton Tower Hotel, followed by five days in Las Vegas - Honeymoons to the city you are in are my favorite! It is tres amazing!

Good luck you two crazy kids!

Welcome to my future ex-husband, Eric Gagne

He is now a Red Sox.
